Today Councilmember Graham introduced legislation to strengthen D.C. law on nuisance properties, by making it easier to prosecute trespassers in abandoned buildings.

Councilmember Graham has donated ten computers and two printers among four recreation centers throughout Ward One. The computers and printers will ensure a better means of technology at each of the recreation facilities. Graham cites the fact that Ward One recreation centers have such out of date technology and that they are in dire need of updated computers for community member use. The donations are part of an allotment, each Councilmember received, of computers and printers from The Wilson Building.

In the wake of recent unprecedented gang violence, Councilmember Jim Graham today introduced legislation that would prohibit the sale of graffiti materials, including spray paint and etching pens, to minors. The "Restricting Minor Access to Graffiti Materials Act of 2003" was co-introduced by Councilmember Brazil.
