Arrest in Murder of Oscar Fuentes and Donations to the Family

The Mayor, MPD Chief Cathy Lanier and I announed the arrest in the murder of 9-year-old Oscar Fuentes this morning.

Josue Pena, was arrested at 5:30 a.m. this morning in Hyattsville, Md. He is a known associate of the MS-13 (Mara Salvatrucha) gang which was active in Oscar's buildings.

This has been a very emotional time for me, my staff and all of Ward One, but more importantly, devastating for Oscar's family. The family and survivors would appreciate donations.
